*sweeps off the dust* It's been ages I know; beautiful picture no?
Back to business...
Ramadan is on it's final leg, and to all of those suggesting that it flew past and you can't believe that we are on the final 10 days; let me tell you this, "NO IT DIDN'T."
I'm all for the Ramadan Spirit, it's one of my favorite months and all, but Oh God it did not go by with a blink of an eye, it took lots of work:
-Endless days out, can actually count the days I stayed in at home on one hand, blimey that's like less than 5 days.
-Lots of "استقبالات" ، :"مواجيب" and "غبقات" ; or in plain english social obligations that take place from 9 to 1 am just giving you time to have a light meal before you have to fast again
- A muddled up sleeping schedule that involves saying good-nite to the sun as it rises and bidding it a good morning as it set, making your day night and your night day, along with various attempts to reset them with Panadol Night but alas it's no use, we all know "Eid" is going to be the time that circadian rhythms automatically go back to normal.
All in all it's been a fabulous Ramadan yet, one filled with endless nice social encounters with people I haven't seen in ages, big emphasis on nice, yummy food, gorgeous outfits, lovely family reunions and bonding, and a spiritual high.
How has your Ramadan been?
