Will you be there?

Watched the MJ Memorial along with the zillion or so masses that tuned into that brilliant celebration of Michael Jackson's life, and a lasting farewell.

Who could have ever asked for a better remembrance?

I was never a die hard MJ fan, I was too young when his one-hit wonders were produced, when everyone wanted to be Jacko; when everyone who was anyone knew how to dance to "Thriller."

I remember his songs in my childhood, but nothing vivid.

I remember dancing to his "I'm bad" song in one of those make-shift make your own music video studios that were littered in almost every arcade back then; I was 4-ish 5-ish, jumping around looking cute in my light blue cut-offs with pigtails in my hair with no idea whether it was "bad" or "mad" and just having a blast with my siblings..

I remember singing "Heal the World" in Choir in elementary.

I remember playing that MJ Sega Video Game, in which we always used to make MJ dance- when he danced all the bad guys would go into a trance and dance with him, and then would be magically wiped out with one throw of his fedora.

That's all really.

But I can't deny the fact that his songs seem to be ever so familiar, I'm sure they always were playing in the background for miraculously I seem to know a couple of stanzas in each one..

One things for sure, he was a living legend, and will forever be remembered for what he did- the good, the bad, and the spectacular (**moon walk, and jetting/flying with a jet-pack in one of his concerts, saw that recently on TV, wow!)

I leave you with a song that really touched a couple of heart strings in his Memorial Concert.

"Will you be there?" sung by the ever so amazing Jennifer Hudson.

"In Our Darkest Hour
In My Deepest Despair
Will You Still Care?
Will You Be There?
In My Trials
And My Tribulations
Through Our Doubts
And Frustrations
In My Violence
In My Turbulence
Through My Fear
And My Confessions
In My Anguish And My Pain
Through My Joy And My Sorrow
In The Promise Of Another Tomorrow
I"ll Never Let You Part
For You are Always In My Heart"

By far one of the most sincere songs I've heard in a while. I love every word.

Hoping you'll always have someone there,

Handle with care; do not shake?

Unshake-able person (noun): a person you can't shake off.

That person who you will fight with, cry with, slam several times, but end up feeling all mushy inside after, thereby going through the whole sequence endlessly.

With every step forward you take, you find yourself thrown 10 steps back.

It's depressing, it's stressful, it used to be fun, you get bored of it, but find yourself missing it, and then what do you know you're thrown right back into that never-ending pattern.

That Unshake-able person is the only person that really knows you; through thick and thin, all your weird phases, all your milestones/important turning points, and is the only one that you find yo-yo-ing with on the friendship scale (a best friend one day, and a frienemie the next).

Some Unshake-ables are so close yet so far- they'll be by your side in a heartbeat if you need them and ironically absent on your good-days; hence making them "Not Applicable (N/a)", you never know what to classify them as..

Other Unshake-ables are people you can't get rid of, due to reasons such as them being related to you by blood, marriage, or even grew up with you..

Unshake-ables are a given with friends; some of them make it to your inner circle..

And that's exactly where all the drama happens......

There seems to be no proven method of shaking off Unshake-ables, or just splicing them out of your life, for if one could, one would never end up with them in the first place..

Problem is not just that, it's the fact that some Unshake-ables start to get used to this Unshakable property, and don't sit well..

They know they are Unshake-able and bank on that, you never want to loose them but you start doubting if they were ever worth it...

You might try cutting them out, and you might be successful for a while, but guess what?

They are "Unshake-able."

"Step in time, Step in time, Never need a reason, Never need a rhyme"

Realizations are sometimes dubbed "Eureka" moments.

They have the capacity to "make" people's lives as well as "break" them.

Often striking in the most random places, times, or situations, they stun a person.

Having a "Eureka" moment is like having a light bulb switch on suddenly in that crowded brain.

You realize something you never knew existed or something you disregarded at first only to see it blatantly appear.

You realize the extent of something's damage, or just snap out of the most awkward phases.

I love "Eureka" moments... I loathe "Eureka" moments.

It's a 50/50 relationship, a "I Love to Hate You," but "Hate that I Love You" twist. (**insert Rihanna and Chris Brown single, *swooon*)

But my opinion does not matter really; for no one can deny the impact those moments have in your life.

They can make you beam, they can make you cry, but in the end they really do change your life.

All one can do really is wish that they get a lot of positive "Eureka-s"; a sum that can outweigh negative ones.

But like change, that's just inevitable.
