"Step in time, Step in time, Never need a reason, Never need a rhyme"

Realizations are sometimes dubbed "Eureka" moments.

They have the capacity to "make" people's lives as well as "break" them.

Often striking in the most random places, times, or situations, they stun a person.

Having a "Eureka" moment is like having a light bulb switch on suddenly in that crowded brain.

You realize something you never knew existed or something you disregarded at first only to see it blatantly appear.

You realize the extent of something's damage, or just snap out of the most awkward phases.

I love "Eureka" moments... I loathe "Eureka" moments.

It's a 50/50 relationship, a "I Love to Hate You," but "Hate that I Love You" twist. (**insert Rihanna and Chris Brown single, *swooon*)

But my opinion does not matter really; for no one can deny the impact those moments have in your life.

They can make you beam, they can make you cry, but in the end they really do change your life.

All one can do really is wish that they get a lot of positive "Eureka-s"; a sum that can outweigh negative ones.

But like change, that's just inevitable.

I for one love realizations. Positive & negative. They are just true moments. Ones where you are at peace with youeself, because in that moment you are living in reality. You know what you need to know, to make the choices you want/need to take. I think you need your fair share of negative onesto appreciate a positive one and we learn to learn from our negative eureka moments instead of wallowing in self pity. And like ypu said, somethings are inevitable, though we sometimes choose to ignore them.

I enjoyed your contemplatory post!

my professor loved that moment, whenever it happened in class, and it happened a lot cuz the class was so difficult, he would point it out and say, there you go, a "lightbulb" moment, so embarrassing!

lol btw, my son loves the song ;p
